General Job Description: This is specialized medical work examining and treating patients in a municipal health clinic or municipal medical evaluation unit for the Occupational Health specialty only. The employee has a controlling responsibility over the activities of a specialized clinic of a health center for positions in the Health Department. Responsibility for securing and maintaining the patient's cooperation is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the general supervision of a medical superior.
The Requirements are as follows:
1. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and completion of an internship in an approved hospital.
AND
Completion of all current formal requirements necessary to be accepted for the initial examinations for certification by the appropriate American Medical or Osteopathic Specialty Board for the area of Family Medicine.
