Graphic Design, Marketing team- Paid, Part-time Work Experience- Student Program (Wayne, PA) Fall '26 (apply at usli.com/students)

The USLI College Student Program connects students to a variety of opportunities at our company. We employ around 200 college students year-round and approximately 240 during the summer. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experiences that prepare them for their next professional step, as well as the chance to explore a career in the insurance industry.

We require our students to be enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester at a 2- or 4-year college/university. You must be available to work at least 12 hours each week and at least 4 hours on any given day that you choose to work. We have no GPA or major requirement, and our pay rate is $20 per hour.

We are looking for students that are team oriented, hard-working and motivated. We focus heavily on our CARE2 values – looking for candidates that are caring, have a good attitude, are respectful, energetic, and empathetic. Our students need to be coachable and are expected to give 100%.

We are looking for students to work on the Marketing team specifically Graphic Design year-round.

What are the essential functions of the student?

The student will assist our designers and marketing team members with a variety of tasks, including making template edits to marketing materials, designing program ads, formatting and printing materials for corporate events, filling marketing kit orders, designing and formatting presentation slide decks, managing customer logo files, maintaining spreadsheets, creating social media graphics, and handling general administrative tasks. 

This student will need to be able to handle tasks that need to follow a process but also adapt to handle more creative design tasks as they arise. Many projects also require a very high level of detail orientation, so a successful student will enjoy striving for accuracy.

 

Note: For any spring or fall applicants, we are looking for students who can work on-site in Wayne, PA for at least 5-10 hours/week to help with printing materials and handling marketing kit orders. The balance of hours may be remote if needed. All summer students are expected to work on-site.

 

List any additional duties that the student would be responsible for:

Depending on their skillset, students may be asked to assist with other marketing tasks, such as taking photos of events, designing email blasts, creating illustrations and more. They will also assist other leaders and team members on the Operations/Personal Development team as needed. This may include helping with various events, like selling raffle tickets, preparing for the holiday party, running registrations, etc.

Additional information/notes:

Student should be majoring in Graphic Design or something equivalent. Year-round availability is preferred due to in-depth nature of training.
