Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution facility in Allentown, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, receiving and shipping operations, team leadership, and maintaining efficient warehouse processes to support our retail stores.

This position requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple priorities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure products are received, processed, and distributed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Ensure garments and merchandise are accurately received, inspected, processed, and stored.
• Coordinate timely shipments to company retail stores and other destinations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Develop and improve warehouse procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Inventory Management

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all product categories.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Work closely with purchasing and management teams to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and lead a warehouse team of three employees.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Schedule staff and assign daily priorities to meet operational goals.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Vendor & Product Coordination

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate incoming shipments and communicate delivery schedules.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged goods issues, and vendor-related concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, vendors, and seasonal inventory requirements.

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize warehouse management and inventory systems to track inventory and shipments.
• Generate inventory, receiving, and shipping reports as needed.
• Assist with process improvements and operational planning.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising and motivating employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Knowledge of Fishbowl Inventory software is a strong plus.
• Experience with apparel, garment, retail, or distribution operations preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse duties throughout the workday.
