What is the Penn Office of Investments? 

The Penn Office of Investments is responsible for investing the University’s endowment, pension, and other long-term assets, collectively valued at over $30 billion. Members of the world-class investment team travel the globe to source new investment opportunities and develop relationships with leading investment firms. To further the growth of one of the largest university endowments in the U.S., Penn partners with the most sophisticated investment managers in the world across hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, public equities, real estate, and natural resources. Returns generated by the Office play a substantial role in supporting the University’s mission by contributing to financial aid, academics, and research. 

What is the Full-Time Investment Analyst Position? 

This position offers Penn students a unique opportunity to launch a career in investing while supporting Penn. Analysts receive incredible insight into the world of investing through exposure to the world’s smartest money managers as they learn about different asset classes and investing styles. Skills developed at the Office of Investments can lead to a career in endowment management or other fields. Prior team members have gone on to the nation’s top business schools, asset managers, consulting firms, endowments, and foundations. 

The Office is a flat, entrepreneurial environment that offers early responsibility and intellectual debate. No prior investment experience is necessary to be successful. We are looking for intellectually curious individuals with a mix of analytical capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
